MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR WOW CLASSIC

HOW TO GET STARTED?
All you need to have is World of Warcraft subscription active, so even if you are playing retail version of the game it still will work in Classic, there is no need to pay twice for subscription!
- Go to your Battle.net desktop application and pick World of Warcraft from the menu.
- You will be able to see Version menu, click World of Warcraft Classic. If you have more versions of the game (tournament realm, PTR, etc.) you might see a second dropdown for Account. Select your active account you wish to play and simply click on it.
- When you will pick your version simply click Install button. You will be able to see a progress bar of that action, it shouldn't take as long as the retail version of the game, it takes approximately 6GB of free disk space to install WoW Classic.

- We strongly recommend to research forums in order to find some community or guild to play with, it will increase your fun in the game in the long run. Having a guild is very essential in WoW Classic, you should definitely look for one!
REALM TYPES
We said earlier, that there are several different realm types to pick from, remember that each realm is different and choosing the right style of it is important. Make sure to pick the one you will have the most fun at!
Normal - This realm type is best for those who don’t want to take part in open-world PvP. All zones are considered contested except for enemy faction cities, in which players will be automatically flagged for PvP. Players won’t be able to attack each other in contested areas unless they flag themselves for PvP with the command /PvP.
PvP (Player vs. Player) - This realm type allows for open-world PvP in all areas except for designated “safe” or sanctuary areas, such as the starting zones where new players begin.
RP (Role-Play) - This realm type is best for those who wish to take part in role-playing with others. This realm type uses the Normal ruleset and does not have open-world PvP.
RP PvP (Role-play Player vs. Player) - RP PvP realms are for role-players who prefer the ruleset of PvP realms—expect open combat in contested areas.
CREATE YOUR CHARACTER
After you’ve selected your realm, you’ll be able to create a character and begin your journey in earnest. You’ll choose your faction, class, and race, as well as fully customize your new character and give them a name. Select the Create New Character option to begin the process.
There are four Alliance races and four Horde races to choose from. Each faction has access to nine classes, and just like in the original release of World of Warcraft, the Paladin and the Shaman classes are restricted to the Alliance and the Horde respectively.
Each race has specific abilities and traits that can have a big impact on your gameplay, so choose wisely.
You’ll be able to create a maximum of 10 characters per WoW Classic realm, with a total maximum of 50 characters across all realms in your region. You’ll also be restricted to one faction (Horde or Alliance) on PvP realms.

In World of Warcraft, characters earn new spells and abilities as they level based on their class. You will have to train them at top of that to get them, as you progress you will get higher ranks of existing ones as well by simply visiting trainer in your capital city.
Once you will progress character up to level 10 you will get access to class talents, they will enable many powerful spells and talents which you can choose from, you will be able to customize your character and own ideology of playing it even more now.
You will earn talents for each level starting at 10, that's total of 51 points you can get until level 60. Each class has three different talent trees, while some of the classes are pure damage for example rogue, hunter, warlock, etc. others are a hybrid - warrior (protection, arms, fury), shaman (restoration, elemental, enhancement), etc.
You will be able to choose what suits you the best, you should strongly consider what exactly you want to do and what talent tree will be the right pick for you depending on playstyle you have. To reset your talents you will have to spend a small amount of gold, however, it will raise every time you do it up to 50 gold per respec, while 50 gold doesn't sound like a lot on retail it is a LOT on Classic, be aware of that and choose wisely!

You might have red RUSHBOOST WoW guide or in general some BFA guide, but you probably won't see anywhere something called "weapon skills" in it. While in BFA there is nothing like that it is essential in WoW Classic to know what it is. The more weapon skill you have the more chances there is to hit your target, you have to level up your skill for each type of weapon from 0. Not all the weapon skills are available from the start and you will have to visit the capital city to learn weapon skill you need but didn't start out with.

RESOURCES
Another thing that you might not know from the retail version of World of Warcraft is class resources to cast specific spells. For example, priest which has stamina buff spell called Power Word: Fortitude has to buy candles to do so, Rogue has to craft poisons to use it on weapons and hunters will need a supply of food for their pets so they will be happy, loyal and they won fled. If your character is using a ranged weapon such as bow you will have to keep your stock of arrows, otherwise, you won't be able to use it properly at all.
Buffs are not for free and if you would like to play with healer you might get for them some supplies, We think that team play is essential in RUSHBOOST :)
PROFESSIONS
You might know professions from retail version already but let us explain it here as well. WoW, Classic has nine primary professions you can potentially choose from and at top of that characters can learn two of them at once. Engineering, Blacksmithing and Leathwrokings professions also have additional specializations, that can be learned from trains around the Azeroth. There are also secondary professions which all characters can learn up to three at the time.
- Primary Professions: Engineering, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, and Tailoring, Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting
- Blacksmiths can specialize in Weaponsmithing and Armorsmithing
- Engineers can specialize in Gnomish Engineering Goblin Engineering
- Leatherworkers can specialize in Elemental Leatherworking or Dragonscale Leatherworking.
- Secondary Skills: Cooking, First Aid, Fishing
ALL AROUND THE AZEROTH - TRANSPORTATION, FLYING & RAIDING
You will need to know Azeroth's flight paths all across, ship routes and zeppelins in order to be able to travel quickly between the places. When you will reach level 40 and you have gathered enough gold you might learn how to ride with riding skill and as well purchase your very first mount.
Remember that mage can make quick portal locations (capital cities etc.). It's very common to leave tip to the mage who is making a portal for you as they aren't for free in WoW Classic. You might also get summoned by a warlock to his location (need up to two players to click on the summoning portal).
GROUPING UP AND LOOTING

To kill elite foes, complete quests faster, get into dungeons and fight a powerful monster you will need a group of players, even in normal quests it is essential to work and cooperate together, while BFA can be literally played as a single player it is very different in Vanilla WoW. Be kind to others so they will be kind to you.
You or your party leader can set loot distribution depending on specific rules such as:
Master Loot: The party leader decides who gets the loot.
Round Robin: Each party member loots in turn.
Group Loot: Party members can roll on rare items.
Need Before Greed: Only party members who can use the item can roll on it.
Free-for-All: Anyone can loot anything if they are quick enough
Remember to set specific rules at the start of your adventures, being ninja looted or rolled in the middle of a dungeon or simply realizing that loot distribution is wrong for you might end up badly! Talk to your group and set up a plan.

As we said earlier in WoW Classic playing as a team is a key factor to pretty much everything! Dungeons, Raids, Adventures, PvP - it was all defined in the game earliest days with you and your friends. You need to find guild, find friends, use /join LookingForGroup channel to find people of similar interest, etc. Once you will get shiny items dropped down by WoW Creators remember there is 2-hour window from the time an item dropped from raid boss where you can trade it to a different player in your raid group.
